Vuelandia is a continuously growing company and now more than 10 years a full-fledged b2b partner within travel industry. Vuelandia supplies travel products such as airline tickets, hotels and car rentals to tour operators and independent travel agents. In addition, Vuelandia is a supplier of several (in-house developed) Travel Booking Software.

Job Description

Do you enjoy liaising with both customers and suppliers? Do you have a good knowledge of airfare, hotel and car rental products? And do you think good service is important? Then we are looking for you! Vuelandia is looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our team. This is a 39-hour position, but part-time (32 hours) is negotiable.

What will you do, among other things?

• Together with the Customer Support team, you will be responsible for all service related issues from both customers and our suppliers.
• With your customer-friendly and solution-oriented attitude, you deal with incoming questions and requests regarding airline tickets, hotel and car rentals. You will take applications or modify them as needed. You will be in contact by phone or by mail.
• In all cases, you will try to provide the best possible service to our customers, because Vuelandia values satisfied customers.

Our ideal candidate

• Has a completed tourism education, at least MBO Tourism.
• Possesses a good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing.
• Has (internship) experience within a travel organization.
• Has good knowledge of airfare, hotel and car rental products.
• Has experience with CRS systems such as Sabre, Amadeus e/o Galileo.
• Has experience with MS Office packages.
• Always has the customer and service-oriented result at the forefront.
• Is flexible and stress-resistant and knows what planned work means.
• Can work both independently and in a team.
• Does not shy away from customer contact during tourism events. Like the vacation fair that Vuelandia attends with the whole team or events that are regularly organized for our customers and suppliers.
