In Economy, Wifi is available for a fee. There is no in-flight entertainment system or WiFi on short, domestic flights and on flights to Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Sustainability

Icelandair is aware of the impact of aviation on the environment and takes responsibility in terms of reducing emissions, conserving natural resources, and also wants to optimize the use of renewable energy and reusable materials. Icelandair is certified to the highest level of IATA’s IEnvA environmental certification program, which requires demonstration of continuous improvements in environmental performance.

On board, there has been a sustainable policy for years to generate as little plastic waste as possible. There are also no more free plastic headsets handed out in Economy Class. In addition, introducing our pre-order menu is a sustainable solution to generate less food waste and is also a loading advantage which in turn reduces CO2 emissions.

Tour Operator Rates

You can book tour operator rates through Vuelandia, discounted rates that you can option for a bit longer, depending on the booking class. Tour operator fares are available in Economy Standard and Saga Premium; therefore, checked baggage is always included.
